Mohamed Amin El-Nawawy
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Mohamed has been appointed the Managing Director & CEO of Telecom Egypt in 2012. In December 2010, he was promoted to SVP and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Before his appointment to SVP, Mr. Mohamed was appointed as Vice President and CSO in April 2009. Previously, he was the Vice President; International, Wholesale and Regulatory Affairs of Telecom Egypt since November 2006. He joined the Telecom Egypt Group in November 2001 as the Chairman and Managing Director of TE Data, SAE which is the TE subsidiary responsible for the TE Group's retail IP transit and managed data services. Previously, in Jan 1992 Mr. Mohamed co-founded InTouch Communications Services, SAE a local ISP in Egypt where he resided as Chairman and Managing Director till April 2000. After that Mr. Mohamed consulted for the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for nearly a year and a half. Mr. Mohamed holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an LLM.

Sayed Elgharabawy
Senior Vice President; International & Wholesale

Sayed Elgharabawy was Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Sayed Elgharabawy has held the role of Vice President for Project Planning in October 2008. Prior to joining Telecom Egypt, he was advisor to the Executive President of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA). From 1997 until 2007, he was Country Manager for Motorola Egypt and Government Relations Manager for Egypt and the Middle East. Elgharabawy participated in the drafting of the new Telecom Law that was enacted in 2003 primarily concerned with spectrum chapter of the law, in addition to participating in the development of the national telecommunications plan issued by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in 2001 and its revision in 2006 as well as several offer initiatives such as the Universal Service Program, now run by the NTRA, and the Wimax Regulatory Framework as well as the new suburbs regulatory framework which are still under development. Prior to this Elgharabawy had various positions with IBM and NCR. Elgharabawy graduated from Ain Shams University with a bachelor of science in telecommunications in 1987.

Mohamed Alfouly
Chief Technical Officer

Mr. Alfouly has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Chief Technical Officer in December 2012. He joined TE in 1981. He has been with the company in various managerial and technical positions, including Director for Exchanges' Planning in 2009. In 11/10/2012, he was promoted as Senior Director for Exchanges, Power & Air conditioning planning and implementation. Mr. Alfouly holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering.

Refaat Geneidy
Chief Regional Officer

Mr. Geneidy has been promoted to the position of Vice President; Chief Regional Officer in December 2012. He joined TE in 1984. He has been with the company in various managerial and technical positions, including Director for different zones since 2006. In 15/10/2012, he was promoted as Senior Director for Upper Egypt and Suez Canal cities. Mr. Geneidy holds a Master degree in Business Administration and a B.sc. in Electrical Communications Engineering.

Ahmed Ossama
Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Ossama has been appointed to the position of Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer in December 2012. He has been with the Telecom Egypt group for almost 10 years. He joined TE Data in 2003 as Product Marketing & Government Affairs Director. In 2008, Mr. Ossama was appointed as board member and Managing Director of TE Data. Mr. Ossama holds a B.Sc. degree with a major in Computer Science and a Minor in Electronics from the American University in Cairo .

Taha Mashhour
Vice President for Human Resources

Mr. Mashhour has been promoted to the position of Vice President for Human Resources in December 2012. He joined TE in 2005. He has been with the company in various managerial positions, including Director for Administrative Affairs in 2005. In 11/10/2012, he was promoted as Senior Director for Administrative Affairs. Mr. Mashhour holds a Bachelor's degree in Military Science as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
