How Can I Get a New Line or Additional Line?
Whether you are starting a home or have found that your growing family needs more telephone lines, it is now simple to get a line. Telecom Egypt's aggressive expansion plan over the last few years now means that waiting lists have almost been relegated to history.
Process & Documentation:
1. Fill up the telephone subscription form and submit it with a copy of your identification card and take your numbered receipt after payment.
2. To complete the process smoothly, please ensure you bring official documents detailing the address where you want the telephone to be installed (the property contract, utility bills, electricity, gas, or water receipt).
3. Please ensure you complete the process within 30 days to ensure you don't have to reapply again.
Fees: LE 386.70 without the telephone set, and LE 561.70 with telephone set.
The telephone set is optional.
What are the dates of bill payment?

Where can I pay the telephone bill?
There are many payment methods:
- At any Telecom Egypt exchanges and telegraph offices. For more information, click here.
- At any Telecom Egypt Phone Boutiques where you can pay your bill without the need to visit the exchange (this in case of unexciting of late charges on phone bill, so in this case you have to pay these charges in the exchange). For more information click here.
- Through this website using a credit card or master card which is issued inside the governorate and after the reimbursement process you can print the receipt to be a prove of the payment.
- Through “Fawry “service which was activated in conjunction with the banks of Egypt Al Ahly, Alexandria and Cairo where the banks’ customers can pay the bill through the ATMs of the Bank.
- Some of clubs and syndicates.
- Khadamaty centers in Greater Cairo and Upper Egypt.
- Khadamatak centers in Alexandria.
- Post office.

What are the Terms of Payment?
- Payment must be received within a month from the billing date.
- Payment before or on the due date does not incur a penalty.
- Payment received 2-3 months after the due date will be liable to penalty fees (1.5% of the bill value) for every delayed month, with a minimum charge of 10 L.E.
- Failure to pay after a period of four months from the due date will result in the suspension of your service until you pay the bill. This incurs penalty fees (1.5% of the bill value) for every delayed month, with a minimum charge of 10 L.E.
- If, after 7 months, you have made no effort to pay the bill your line will be permanently disconnected.

What is The PIN Code?
The (PIN Code) is a code for your phone line consists of 4 digit numbers, which you get it for free from your exchange and then you do not need to visit the exchange again to subscribe to any of our services.
PIN Code enables you to enjoy the ultimate privacy and control over your phone line; no one can access your private information such as your bill amounts and other data. Besides, the PIN Code allows you to subscribe to any of our services without visiting the exchange because you can use our call center 111 or this website for the subscription processes that will save your time and effort.
At any time, you can change your PIN Code through a voice message through 111 or the website www.telecomegypt.com.eg or you can visit any exchange which offers PIN Code service without paying any fees. For more information click here.
How Can I Transfer My Line To Another Person?
Many people suffer the inconvenience of having their home telephone registered to someone other than themselves – we have even heard of the phone being registered to long depart family members. This makes applying for any new service or change to the line really difficult. Why not consider re – registering the line to your name?!
Either you are transferring to a close family member, or to any one outside your family, or in both cases you should come to the commercial office at the nearest exchange with the person that you will transfer from / or to, and fill up the “transfer form“. The office will confirm you with the payment for your last bill and take the transferring fees.
Transferring Fees:
- Transferring within the same exchange: L.E. 58
- Transferring to another exchange: L.E. 180
- Changing property: L.E. 70
- Changing number: L.E. 22
How Can I Transfer My Line To My New Home?
Visit the commercial office at the nearest exchange to your new home. Complete a "Telephone Transfer Form" and submit it with the property contract and a form of identification card.
If the new line will follow the same exchange of the old one, you will transfer it with the same number.
Transferring fees: L.E. 100 for transferring the line within 4 km distance + L.E. 12 for every additional 500 meters.
How Can I Send a Telegraph?
You can send a telegraph through:
- Calling 124 and the fees will be added to the value of next telephone bill.
- Visiting the exchange (the telegraph department) and responsible employee will finish all procedures of telegraph and submit the formal invoice which includes the due amount.
How Can I Get An International Access?
Visit any of the following exchanges:
- Korbah
- Mohandseen
- Giza
- Ramsis
(Or send an authorized delegate to represent you). And kindly make sure to bring the following documents:
- Personal ID card or Passport or Driving License.
- Property contract (rental or ownership).
- Recent document proving your residency in the location such as; electricity, gas, or water bills.
You will be able to make the first international call during one week after successfully completing the contract and paying all necessary fees.

How Can I Submit a Complaint?
If you have any complaints or inquiries, you can:
