Launches a new offer for any new fixed line subscription
Engineer Tarek Tantawy, "The fixed line is now offered with no installation fees in addition to 3000 free minutes."
Telecom Egypt is offering the new subscriber 3000 free minutes and no installation fees.
Engineer Tarek Tantawy, chief executive officer and managing director of Telecom Egypt, declared that the promotion will start from 1st of May till the end of June 2010.
Engineer Tarek added that the offer applies for the residential customers and that the 3000 free minutes are applicable to all types of calls (local – national – mobile); in addition to the "call barring" service which is offered free of charge for six months.
Engineer Emad Al Azhary, vice president of Telecom Egypt's commercial affairs, added that the new subscriber who will benefit from the 3000 free minutes will be charged, within 6 months, as follows:
- For local minutes, the customer will get 1 free minute in return to each minute he made with a maximum of 260 minutes/month.
- For national calls, the customer will get 1 free minute for each minute made with a maximum of 150 minutes/month.
- For mobile calls, the customer will get 3 free minutes for each 3 minutes made with a maximum of 90 minutes/monthly.
The new subscriber will also benefit from the "call barring" service for free for 6 months.
Its worth mentioning that this offer conforms with Telecom Egypt's marketing strategy which aims in providing its customers with high quality services at reasonable prices to suit all socio economic classes.
In line to this strategy and under this offer's umbrella, Telecom Egypt offers both the currant and the new subscriber a PT15/minute flat rate from any fixed line dialing a mobile number. Telecom Egypt also offers the national call subscription for free via the nearest customer service centre or simply by dialing, at the normal call rate, its customer service number (111), operating 24X7.
